All the aspiring engineers, your
wait to take the entrance exam for admissions in one of the top engineering
colleges is over as Amrita Entrance Exam- Engineering (AEEE) is scheduled on
April 13, 2014, Sunday.
Since the last date of receiving the filled-in AEEE application form was March 31, 2014, no more applicants can apply for the entrance exam. So, all the lucky candidates who have not missed the deadline have the right time to gear up for the exam that is round the corner.
Conducted every year in 75 cities by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University, AEEE exam is taken by students who seek admission to its B. Tech. courses at the three engineering colleges of Amrita University located at Coimbatore, Bengaluru and Amritapuri.

A Sneak Peak at the Pattern of the Exam
The entrance exam (AEEE) is a 3 hour paper (10 AM to 1 PM), which tests the candidates on different subject areas- Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The question paper will include objective type questions followed by 4 options for the correct answer. The question paper will be in a common language- English.
Each right answer earns 3 marks. However, the aspiring candidates should remember that the entrance exam also includes negative marks (-1) for each incorrect answer.
If you have applied for the exam, you can download your exam hall ticket from the official website of the university (http://117.240.224.21/oars/hallticketHome.php) as it will not be delivered by post. All you need to do is enter your Date of Birth and Application Number.
