The public Relation officer in any organization is responsible for creating goodwill and positive publicity for the organization. It involves effectively communicating with internal and external public which includes employees, shareholders, media, consumers, clients etc. Public Relation people speak about company’s product, policies, campaigns, announcements etc. They also speak to media and journalists are responsible for dissemination of information on the behalf of client and the company. In order words we can say that Public Relation people know how to boast sales and marketing and how to get public attention for the company. They also write press releases and set up engagements for any upcoming events in the organization.
Eligibility
If you have good communication skills and outgoing personality and loves meeting and talking to people then this job is for you. Some public relations institutes conduct entrance test for admission in public relation courses. Some institutes offer diploma or post graduates courses. The minimum qualification for getting admission into these public relations courses is graduation from a recognized board or university.
