About MAT (Management Aptitude Test)

MAT is a well-known standardized MBA entrance exam, which is a passport to more than 600 B-Schools in India. MAT scores are accepted by various management colleges for offering admissions to their MBA and other allied programs. MAT Exam is conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA).

MAT February 2014

Mode of Test: MAT Exam is conducted in two modes of test- Paper-based Test, or Computer-based Test. Candidates can choose any one of the two modes of test as per their convenience.

Test Date: AIMA has announced MAT 2014 Exam date in February 2014. MAT February 2014 Paper-based exam will be conducted on February 02, 2014 (Sunday), while the computer-based test is scheduled from February 08, 2014 onwards. However, if the total number of test takers registered for MAT computer-based exam is limited, the test can be accommodated for a single day and may be held on February 02, 2014. Students need to check the official website of AIMA for any changes in the test dates.

Test Timing: For MAT Exam February 2014, paper-test will be held between 10:00 am to 12:30 pm. On the other hand, computer-based MAT test will be scheduled in different time slots and at different test venues.
Eligibility: MAT Exam can be taken by candidates who hold a graduation degree in any discipline. Students in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply.

How to apply: In order to apply for MAT February 2014 Exam, the aspiring candidates can choose either of the below mentioned modes of application:

1)    You can apply online by registering at http://apps.aima.in/matfeb14.
2)    Get a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 1200/-, which should be in favor of All India Management Association and payable at Delhi. Register at http://apps.aima.in/matfeb14  and provide the DD details.
3)    One can also get MAT form from AIMA, Delhi or from all listed AIMA Nodal Centers against a cash payment of Rs. 1200/-.

Candidates are also advised to check with the respective institute before applying for MAT to avoid any confusion in the later stages of admission process.
