XLRI declares shortlisted candidates for its management programs 2014

After XAT 2014 Exam result is declared on January 21, 2014, the time has come to get ready for the next round of admission process as XLRI Xavier School of Management has declared the list of shortlisted candidates for interviews. The candidates are shortlisted for the various post-graduation management courses offered by the institute, including, Global Management, Business Management, Human Resource Management and General Management.

This year, a total of 89,400 candidates registered for XAT Exam. The test evaluated applicants on various areas such as Quantitative Analysis, Logical and Verbal Reasoning, Data Interpretation, General Knowledge and Decision Making. XAT exam is one of the most reputed management exams, which is conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur at national level for admission to various B-schools in India.

The candidates are shortlisted on the basis of XAT 2014 score recently declared on January 21, 2014. All the successful candidates can check their interview details on the official website of XLRI. The final selection of students to the various courses will be done mainly on the basis of XAT 2014 score, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Other relevant things that will play an important role in the final admission include academic record, work experience, and extra-curricular activities.

Course Details

The various courses for which candidates are short listed by XLRI Xavier School of Management include Business Management (BM- 180 seats), General Management (GMP- 120 seats), Global MBA (20 seats) and Human Resource Management (HRM- 180 seats). Out of these, HRM, Global MBA and BM are 2 year, full-time courses; General Management is a 15 months program.

XLRI has also declared the list of shortlisted candidates for Human Resource Management (PGDM) and Business Management (PGDM) courses. These are the two flagship courses of the reputed institute.
