The Pearl Academy of Fashion, India’s leading institute of Fashion and Design invites application for admission to its MA programmes. It has announced intake for the academic year 2010 - 2012 for various courses in Fashion affiliated to Nottingham Trent University, United Kingdom.

MA in Design (Fashion & Textiles):
It provides an in-depth understanding of global design trends and requirements; develops ground-level understanding of lifestyle aspirations, enables strategic management of the design process to facilitate integrated solution to aesthetic, commercial, technological and intellectual requirements.
MA in Fashion Marketing:
It is designed for people with an imaginative and innovative flair and an interest in management of the fashion business in India. It presents exciting career opportunities for those with the ability and interest to create, develop and promote new as well as existing fashion products, brands, lifestyles and services.
-MA in Fashion Merchandising
This program offers professional management knowledge to emerging Fashion Entrepreneurs, Business developers and Strategic Fashion Industry Planners.
- MA in Fashion Retail
It is for those who want to develop themselves into strategic leaders and have an aptitude for critical and creative thinking to take challenges and solve complex problems in dynamic retail business. It gives an opportunity to build a career in Visual Merchandising, Merchandising, Retail Marketing, Store Operations, Buying, Brand Management, Fashion Lifestyle and Luxury Retailing.
The eligibility criteria to apply for admissions in any of the above courses:
-For MA in Design (Fashion & Textiles)-
Graduation or equivalent in Fashion or Textile Design
-For other courses graduate in any discipline with at least 50% marks.
Also, graduates from fashion related streams are eligible for lateral entry to semester II on passing through the selection process.
The method of selection involves presentation of Portfolio and Personal Interview for MA Design (Fashion & Textiles) course. And General Proficiency Test (MA-GPT), Special Skills Test (MAST) followed by Interview for other three courses.
